I'm not prowar either, but I've got to say, I support our troops, and they believe in what they're fighting for.
The people of Iraq, in NO WAY are against us. You see that from biased news stations. They're over there THANKING us and they're GLAD we helped them out. They have something they never did. FREEDOM. And they like that. They can vote, they can voice what they think, they're no longer fearful of every little thing that they say and do. So why not be happy for them?
Why can't we leave right now? Yes, we got Saddam out. No, we didn't get all his followers out. There are SO many groups over there who are still loyal to him, still believe he was right. If we left right now, it would be total anarchy over there and then those terrorist groups who still follow Saddam would take over, meaning that everything would have been for nothing.
About Cindy. I honestly think she is a conceeded, arrogant, stupid person who's using her son's death for her own gain. I haven't heard anyone else go on TV after having lost their children in war and say "YOU CAN NOW SAY YOU'VE MET CINDY SHEENAN!" Excuse me?! Who does she think she is? I would be APPALLED to meet her. I think she's just a horrible human being and I think her son would be very angry to know his memory is being destroyed by the way she's acting.

yup.. they were on Fox News a couple of weeks ago.. basically what they are is a bunch of parents, brothers/sisters, friends of the troops in Iraq that are showing the world that THEY support the troops and that... 'cindy doesn't speak for them'

Why doesn't she just greeve like every other parent who lost a loved one in the war? She's pathetic and obviously has no life. I just wish that the terrorists would go and kill themselves. The World would be a better place without them.

i just think it's all.. so pointless.. not the war..i mean.. we need to be there.. we can't pull out.. but i'll never understand WHY this stuff happens..why war is necessary..why people do things to MAKE it necessary .eh.

I see what you mean and I want to know why it hasn't all been sorted out yet. On the news the other day it showed hundreds of Iraq's throwing things at an army tank and then they set fire to it! And then I saw all the Soldiers jump out and luckily run away and one of them was actually on fire! Then the thing that wound me up even more was that they are from Wolverhampton! Soldiers from where I live having to go through that! What the hell is Tony Blaire doing about this?

I don't think we should of gone in so quickly. or even at all. I know way to many people serving in that war that are my friends and loved ones. and many people on both sides are dieing because of it. i know the twin towers was horrible. but that was a group of people. not the whole nation. i think we should of just gotten hussaine out of there and helped set an order there. But the places where they(USA) were boming was were civilians lived. And where are these weapons that bush and his pals keep speaking of? i have yet to see anything. I wished that we would of waited for the United Nations in this matter and i feel that it was a petty excuse to actually go in to Iraq. ...but thats just my opinion

honestly i think that bush jsut went to war because the american people wante war and then he came up with an excuse afterwards...but now taht we are at war i know we cant pull out...and yes we have restored order and without all the troops over there the violence would never stop....and honestly...i know i sound horrible when i say this but i'd rather the terrorists be shooting at the troops that citizens of the country because at least the troops are armed and are expecting it.... but really all we can do is just pray it will be over soon and pray taht the soldiers are safe while they are there

yeah...thats it....but honestly...we need troops over there because iraq isnt stable yet...and i read an email the other day that those who support the troops should wear red on fridays...a simple gesture but if we get enough to do it...we can really take a stand against the minority whos fighting this
