Help!
ever since i've been young i've had a lot of problems but lately its all getting to me too much.
Dad just makes it worst
you see i can type fast but not write so using ICT in my gcse's would help but the thing is to do that i have to start using it in class.
the thing is i am so scared of standing out, i used to be bullied for it!
I know dad is only doing what he thinks is best for me but this time he has got it so wrong!
I've been in tears over it all twice today. dad is thinking of what is best for me short term not long. I'm under pressure because of it all.
Tommorrow he's ringing the school to check i have used ICT in class but the thing is tommorrows my birth day, i dont want too.
I've tried to talk to him about it but he isn't listening!
I am so angry with my self i cant keep up with the rest of the class, i want to make dad proud, but at the same time i have to do it in a way that i can make my self proud too.

hmm.....that is a toughy well....ask your dad politley(politely is the key, parents listen more if you seem more understanding to their point of view) if you could take a break from it for a day for your birthday and maybe just maybe try it agian for a couple of days (using it) and just see if it helps. if it doesnt truely help you in your classes tell your dad that it doesnt help and explain why it doesnt and maybe he will see it your way. about the social issue of it, if your friends are truely your friends they wont make fun of you for using something to better yourself. if they make fun of you, thats not the right set of friends for you. but dont let a few sneers or remarks keep you from doing your best in school. good luck and i wish you the best
