I've recently heard the song "Dragostea din tei" by O-zone, and I'm addicted to it now!

i'm really not a blink 182 fan.. they kind of have that 'ooh it's this band! wait..wait no..it's another band that sounds EXACTLY like it..gocha.' feel but if you like em more power to you haha i have no favorite band really.. i like wayy too many different kinds of music to have a favorite. but my fav song is definitely The Luckiest by Ben Folds

On the last Brit Awards they won about 5! They're really good and before anyone says it. They're not a girl band. They're a band with about 4 men and a woman. Thing thats weird is they're not really known in America (As far as I know) and yet they're American lol!

yeah, not very popular..americans (at least texans) keep to the rap music. i like it..but i'm really more of an unconventional 'own sound' music fan.. which..wow..i feel like a snob when i say that. a friend of mine is a complete Elitist. he won't listen to the new Deathcab cd because the lyrics aren't 'as deep'. stupid joe.

I've always shied away from bands who have "shallow" lyrics as well, but in my opinion, we need bands to have such lyrics. If every new band out there made weird, eclectic music in an effort to sound different, then music would be difficult to listen to. There's only so many ways to make a song "original" and "deep," you know? In order to have variety, there has to be a few "un-original" bands squeezed in there. We have to sacrifice a few ambitious hooks and abstract emotions, so that when they do come along, they're amazing.

ahh! Daisy that is EXACTLY what i've been trying to tell him..but i think you word it a bit better.. so i may tell him that lol and besides.. sometimes it's just nice to listen to the 'unoriginal fluff' music and not worry about the deeper meanings and stuff
